DefleMask: A Multi-System music tracker
DefleMask is a free Cross-Platform tracker for producing music for many soundchips and old school systems.It is capable of make music for specific systems and soundchips.

DefleMask uses VGM and ROM format for all of the supported systems, this allows real hardware playing of the music created with this tracker.

If you are writing a music app and you want to include DefleMask support, you want to convert any format to the DefleMask format or transform a DMF to a different filetype, this will be helpful: DMF Format Specs

Windows: If you want to correctly done the file associations (DMF, MMF, etc), you have to run DefleMask as Administrator. Mac: You have to move libSDL-1.2.0.dylib file included with DefleMask to usr/local/lib (or edit your DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH to include the DefleMask dir) Linux: There are some dependencies that you should install first; freeglut, sdl. Also the DefleMask folder should have full access on all sub-directories (rwx). More details are available inside the manual. |
